On New Year’s Eve International Dances of Universal Peace groups around the globe

share a focus on global peace. Come for a peace-filled New Year’s Eve!

Join in either one or both of these programs. No prior experience required.

(It all ends in time to make it to later parties for New Year’s celebrations!)

Annual Aramaic Prayer Zikr cycle before Global Peace Dances



Chant and move with the expanded meanings of the Aramaic Prayer (traditional “Lord’s Prayer”) A circle of focused body prayer led by Munira Elizabeth Reed dedicated towards peace within and without  5:00-6:15 p.m. 4:30 p.m. – Newcomers - orientation session to the Aramaic Lord’s Prayer


SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENING

5:00 – 6:15 p.m. – Aramaic Prayer Cycle

6:15 - 7:00 p.m. – Heavy hors d'oeuvres and holiday snacks

Those who wish can bring something to share. No obligation to bring anything but oneself however!

7:00 – 8:30 p.m. – Dances of Universal Peace Global Peace Celebration

8:30 – More visiting around refreshments, or departing for quiet evenings at home, or on to other parties!

Come for one or all parts of the evening. Drop by and join in!
