Rumi study group

Come, seek, for search is the foundation of fortune

A group studying/reading the works of Mevlana Jelaladdin Rumi, 13th century poet and Islamic scholar will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month beginning on 4/28/2011, 7:30pm at Muslim Community Center, 1677 Oak St Columbus, OH 43205.
If you have favorite poems or books bring them along, we'll read various translators and interpretations, look into Qu'ranic references and discuss our own impressions.

Come, seek, for search is the foundation of fortune:
every success depends on focusing the heart.
Unconcerned with the business of the world,
keep saying with all your soul, "Coo, Coo," like the dove.
Consider this well, O you whom worldliness veils:
God has linked our invocation to the promise, "I will answer."*
When weakness is cleared from your heart,
your prayer will reach the glorious Lord.
