Illuminating the Path of the Heart

with Tui Wilchinsky
Sponsored by the Columbus Dances of Universal Peace and Shalem Center

Wednesday, July 1
7:00-9:00 p.m.

First Community Church
North Campus
3777 Dublin Road
Columbus, Ohio 43221

Rejuvenate the spirit and awaken the heart through the
Dances of Universal Peace.

The Dances of Universal Peace have reawakened a form of sacred circle dancing which includes singing by the dancers themselves. The dances originated in San Francisco in 1967 through Murshid Samuel L. Lewis, who was inspired by his teacher, Hazrat Inayat Khan and by modern dance pioneer Ruth St. Dennis. They have spread all over the world. These Dances create a nurturing, therapeutic, educational, personal growth-oriented, and ecumenical atmosphere.
The sharing of sound and movement acts as a cosmic glue to create, sustain, and heal the community and the individual. Join us for a time of peace, reflection, and joy.
